LINKS
Living life through a lens?
Here is a list of the photography resources I have frequented or have been recommended to me over the years.
The list itself and links are very "WEB 1.0" but until I can think of a better way to present it, this will have to suffice.
As with much of the web, many of these sites may be non-existent by the time you click on them. Last updated on January 19, 2011. Suggest a site or report a broken link here.
I am proud to call the following amazing photographers my friends:
Bill Schwab, owner of North Light Press, and creative force behind North Light Photographic Workshops, including the annual Photostock photographers' gathering in Cross Villages, MI.
Marc Akemann, a fine commercial photographer from around Ann Arbor, MI.
Marianne Priest, an amazing photographer and printer, and one of the kindest souls on this planet.
Mark O'Brien, the mind behind the Random Camera Blog and other photo enterprises
Vinny Walsh, AKA "Wild Bill" and other things. He taught me a lot about good Large Format practices. I don't actually follow it, but he did set a good example.
A- Analog or primarily analog photography, processing, printing, etc.
D - Digital only, but interesting nonetheless.
